Ring Sizing

To ensure the perfect fit for your ring, follow these instructions carefully. You can use either a printable chart or a string/strip of paper to measure your finger size.

Method 1: Using a String or Paper Strip

1. Gather Materials: You’ll need a thin strip of paper, a ruler, and a pen.

2. Wrap the Paper Around Your Finger: Take the paper strip and wrap it around the base of the finger you want to measure. Make sure the paper is snug but not too tight.

3. Mark the Overlap: Once the paper is wrapped around, mark where the ends meet.

4. Measure the Length: Lay the paper flat and measure the length (in millimeters) from the starting point to the mark using the ruler.

5. Find Your Ring Size: Use the length of the paper to find your ring size. You can refer to a ring size chart to match the measurement with the corresponding size.

Method 2: Using a Ring You Already Own

1. Find a Ring that Fits: If you have a ring that fits the desired finger comfortably, you can use it as a guide.

2. Measure the Diameter: Use a ruler or caliper to measure the inner diameter of the ring (the distance across the center of the ring).

3. Match the Diameter to a Size Chart: Compare your measurement to a ring size chart, which will convert the diameter to a corresponding ring size.

Tips:

Measure at the Right Time: Your fingers can fluctuate in size throughout the day due to temperature and activity. Measure when your hands are at a comfortable temperature—ideally in the evening when fingers are at their largest.

Don’t Guess: If you’re between two sizes, it’s usually better to size up, as resizing down is easier than resizing up.

If you’re still unsure, it’s always a good idea to visit a jeweller for a professional measurement.
